Hannon Bearpaw knives are handmade for the discriminating hunter. D-2 blades are tempered to 60-61 Rc. ATS-34 blades are tempered to 60 Rc. 440C blades are tempered to 59 Rc. All materials have been field tested for an edge durability and sharpness.

About the maker: Dan Hannon. I have been making fixed blade hunting knives since 1997. I make knives as a hobby and enjoy putting my utmost into each quality blade. I am an outdoor enthusiast and a hunter and put many knife styles to use in the field.

All knives come with sheaths and are sharpened. I use a variety of blade materials including D2 tool steel, ATS-34 stainless steel and 440C stainless steel. All are tempered to the optimal hardness to ensure a longer lasting and keen edge, yet offering the toughness required of a working edge. Guards are typically nickel silver, silver soldered to the blades. Handle materials vary, I like the beauty and durability of exotic hardwoods. Sheaths are hand sewn top grain leather. Each blade is engraved with my signature symbol, bearpaws.

Return policy is thirty days. If you don't like the way it handles, feels or looks in person return the blade in the same condition received for a full refund.

The workmanship is guaranteed. However, as with all tools, there is a purpose and a use for each tool. These are cutting instruments and not to be confused for screwdrivers, prybars or chisels.
